David Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition Committee

This committee shall be responsible for administration of the David Cohn Appellate Advocacy Competition held each spring semester. The responsibilities of this committee include, but are not limited to: developing an appropriate competition problem/packet and preparing an accompanying bench memo in a timely fashion; establishing a competition schedule at a time convenient to judges and students and posting such schedule in the Board office; coordinating scheduling of judges; promoting participation throughout the student body; and overseeing the scoring process. At the conclusion of the competition, the committee shall submit to the Co-Chairpersons a complete list of competitors who have earned credit. Board members serving on this committee will not be permitted to compete in the David Cohn Competition.
